Options for telephone or email consultations

I am pleased to offer consultations regarding our philosophy, diet, healthcare and lifestyle, hospice care and transition, etc. Important to note: I/we are not qualified veterinarians and can only offer our advice and thoughts based upon our many years of experience taking care of our animal family and from the miracles of healing we have observed.

Scale of Fees

We are many times requested to offer free advice and give consultations to those who have often spent all their money at a vet hospital only to discover they have no more options and finances are running low. Much as we would love to help everyone we have to make mention that BrightHaven is a non-profit and also hanging on by a hair’s breadth in current economic times  General operating costs are enormous in our varied work of rescue and sanctuary, not to mention education too, and so we have no alternative but to charge a fee. We do wish to be of service to many though, and so offer the following options:

Free:

You may email me a short overview with name of your pet, including a photograph please, and I will respond with basic advice on:

• Our philosophy
• Referral to a classical veterinary homeopath
• Basic diet principal and advice.
• You may also have a short (five minute) telephone conversation with any one of us on the subjects above.

$25 Per quarter hour telephone consultation:

*To obtain the best possible use of the time before the appointment please email a photograph, (not essential but I do love to see who I am helping!) as well as email or fax your most recent blood panel, with a note of current tests, medications and supplements. The review of these prior to our conversation will give longer for discussion.

Email consultation:

This is my preferred way of consulting as it gives more time for thought and in depth response. How it works 1^st week: $100.00 which gives an entire week of emails back and forth to enable questions as they arise. 2^nd and subsequent weeks: If there is a need for ongoing consultation, then email time will be charged pro rata at the rate of $25 per quarter hour.

Please begin all consultations by emailing:

• Name and a photograph
• Most recent blood panel or tests
• As much information as possible please, about what is going on

Payment options:

• Visa or MasterCard by telephone to BH office
• Visa or MasterCard via the donation form (please specify in the “Additional Information” box that you are sending funds for a consultation)
• Check mailed to BrightHaven PO Box 1743 Sebastopol CA 95473
