I come from a country called TURKEY—It is a long way away from here. They tell me my back was broken when somebody threw something at me when I was a little kitten, nursing from my Mum.
I remember being in a cage for a long time at a vet hospital in Turkey, where they really loved me. Then, one day a wonderful lady came and took me away to live in America. She called me Bambi as she hoped that one day I would walk and jump again, just like Bambi. I loved her so much.
They tell me I was originally a feral girl and maybe that is why I seemed quite angry sometimes, and could be very vicious. After I left my lovely 1st Mom, I was lucky to find another lovely Mom, who I loved too, but when she could not care for me when she became ill there were others who scared me badly and then I bit someone. That made them and me angry! I was so afraid of humans after that and would attack and bite because I thought I might be hurt again. I wish so much that I could go to the bathroom on my own like other cats do. I hate having to have that done to me every day—I just want to be like everyone else!
I have lived at BrightHaven for a long while now. At first I hated it and bit Gail when she tried to help me, but now I adore her and she adores me too. She calls me her Tally Two-shoes and I love it! This is a big, big house and I can scoot all over—I just love to play and have lots of fun now. I love my life again!!!!!!
